Music Society: A Cappella Manager

Hi everyone! I’m Viduna and I’ll be running for a cappella manager. 

As a first year having joined Eustones this academic year, I’ve had a blast so far (despite constantly drilling out repetitive basslines as a low bass LOL), performing once so far in the Eustones/Altones Christmas concert. I love the chill yet (sometimes) focussed vibe of the group, making music in a fairly under-appreciated niche and I hope to continue that. 

With a modest 10 years of experience in music/performance, I aim to maintain the fun supportive environment we’ve cultivated in the Eustones/Altones with the goal of bringing a cappella to more ears and more potential Eustoners. 

I will ensure that a cappella stays running smoothly, and remain high energy and fun, with a plentiful supply of snacks at breaks at every rehearsal. My hope is that UCL a cappella is something we all create together, built upon all of our inputs into something that we all have passion for. And if y’all have faith in me, I’ll absolutely cook as the next a cappella manager. 

It is always nice participating in this a cappella group and I want to contribute by taking on management responsibilities. :)
