Mexican Society: Treasurer

I'm keen on nominating myself as treasurer because, beyond the numbers, I'm really excited about the chance to help bring our amazing cultural events and activities to life. I see this role as a unique opportunity to support the fun, engaging, and educational experiences that bring us closer to our heritage and each other. I want to ensure we have the resources we need to host awesome events, from music nights and art workshops to cultural festivals and parties!

My goal to get further involved in the society in a way that allows others to experience Mexican culture and identity can only happen through meetings and events that have to be carefully organized so that they can be as enriching, authentic and accessible, as well as taking place as often as possible. The work I want to do as treasurer within the society is founded in transparency and communication, innovation, collaboration and dedication, all centered around Mexico and its culture!
