Joana Bulanova Bartilotti Do Vale Roxo

Hello everyone! My name is Joana Roxo, I'm a 2nd Year Cancer Biomedicine student, and I'll be running for Mentorship Programme Executive. This year I was a Technology in Healthcare Executive for MedTech, which I believe prepared me with the necessary skills of networking, procuring possible mentors through different platforms, sponsorships, advertising the programme, and being able to keep up with any stress that comes with this position. I have also partaken in the mentorship programme last year as a mentee, so I'm familiar with what the programme entails and have a couple of ideas that I would like to bring to the table. My main goals for this programme would be to ensure that there is a good mentor-mentee fit for everyone involved to get the most out of the experience and make lasting connections even after the mentoring ends. Additionally, I would like to stress the importance of in-person meet-ups with mentors, even if it's just for coffee and a chat, since face-to-face communication is clearer and strengthens the connection. I'm really excited to be running for this position in my last year! Hope to get the chance to make the best mentorship programme for you all!
