I am standing for election as president of MEDLIFE at UCL because I am deeply committed to the organisation's mission of making healthcare and education globally accessible. I believe that Medlife combines all the things I’m passionate about from volunteering, access to healthcare and actively making a difference in people’s lives and society.

I'm soon undertaking my SLT to Lima Peru!! Outside of the UCL chapter in June, and I'm super excited!  I currently volunteer at Kings’ College Hospital so volunteering is very familiar to me! Being a bioscience student at UCL and a future med applicant next year, I am committed to advocating for healthcare and wish to play a part in alleviating inequalities in healthcare and education in communities. I believe that Medlife could be a great community to be a part of and I hope that as a member of the board for Medlife soc I can make a difference and provide a fun and welcoming community as a society! I hope to work closely with other MEDLIFE chapters and organisations at other local universities, fostering partnerships and collaborations.

Finally, as president, I aim to lead MEDLIFE UCL in expanding its reach and impact at UCL. I am dedicated to organising meaningful fundraising events and initiatives that will support MEDLIFE's projects and service-learning trips, ensuring students have the opportunity to contribute directly to communities in need.

Thank you ! 🌷
