Recognizing the importance of general well-being, I am delighted to nominate myself as the Welfare Officer of the MPBE society. I am committed to build a safe and warming society for all its members.

I see personal and mental health as very important aspects in life. Through regular exercise and uplifting activities, I am capable to spread positive energy within our community. I wish to share my part of my enthusiasm and bring an energetic and caring atmosphere to the society. Currently volunteering with the British Red Cross, I've honed compassion and empathy, essential for understanding members' diverse situations. This way I will be able to provide a safe space for members to share their concerns, suggestions and their worries.

If elected, I would focus on members' general well-being. I would always keep listen to our members’ suggestions, complaints as well as their worries and happiness that they would like to share. It would be my responsibility to help build a safe and welcoming environment for whoever want to join. I would want to make anonymous suggestions boxes to allow members to make suggestions and also their questions on the course or their other concerns. I would also want to make regular well-being workshops, for example, painting, group activities, etc. The well-being and mental health will be my priority. I hope that I could be a trustworthy Welfare Officer and we could work together to bring a loving and carefree atmosphere for the society.

In my 3 years of experience in the MPBE Society, I have worked hard to create an environment where those interested in medical physics and biomedical engineering can come together and collaborate, socialise and learn. In my final year in UCL, I am still interested in protecting these ideals in a safe environment consisting of open minded people. As the Welfare Officer, I will be working hard to ensure our society remains a supportive and inclusive space for all its members. My commitment is to foster an environment where individuals feel not only welcomed but also valued and heard. I will actively promote mental health awareness, organize events that encourage open discussions, and implement initiatives that prioritize the well-being of every member.
