Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering Society : Treasurer

After two years as events executive, I look forward to stepping into a more administrative role as treasurer.

As a Medical Physics student passionate about understanding the application of technology in the medical field, and with previous experience in financial service, I believe I am well-suited to contribute to the MPBE Society in the role of Treasurer.

During my previous work experience in a bank's credit department, I developed strong interpersonal skills with clients, attention to detail in transactions and honed my decision-making ability.

I understand that effective communication and collaboration are essential for this role. I will endeavor to manage the financial budget of the Society responsibly, ensuring financial accessibility to events, and organise Society payments with the president, maintaining high accountability.

I aim to leverage this opportunity by working closely with the members of the committee team. This involves in cultivating relationships for students within the society, opportunities for networking experience with experts and cohorts in different fields, and optimising the events contributing to the growth and influence of the MPBE society.

I would like to give back to my department and help organise events for my peers so that they can make the best of their time at UCL!
