Neha Reni

A welfare officer's responsibilities consist of being supportive, welcoming, and responsible for the well-being of the members of Malayali Society. My passion and dedication for improving and maintaining good health, as well as my enthusiasm to work with others, make me the ideal person for the job.

By being House Captain at school and volunteering for several charity organisations, I have developed and demonstrated the qualities that make a great welfare officer. While volunteering at a care home, I was responsible for successfully arranging and executing a Christmas event to both lift the spirits of the visitors and raise money for a good cause, and I enjoyed it! I showed my cooperation and fostered teamwork, a vital part of being part of this active society.

Others have described me as comforting, compassionate, and communicative. They often say they look to me for support and advice as I empathise and provide help with their matters. I always give my all to understanding a situation and try my best to find an appropriate solution that makes everyone happy.

I am devoted to everything I sign up for, whether it's being a medical student or just a friend. My strong understanding of social dynamics and my eagerness to be an active part of Malayali Society will make me the best choice for Welfare Officer.

Annliya Mathew

If elected, I promise to always prioritise the well-being of each and every member of our society. I believe that fostering a supportive and inclusive environment is crucial for our community to thrive. I will strive to create initiatives and resources that cater to the diverse needs of our members, making sure that everyone feels valued and supported.
