Mahjong Society: Welfare Officer

Hey my name's Joe and I'm going for the role of welfare officer. Having been a member for a while, I'll ensure that everyone feels included within the society, so looking forward, I'm excited  to meet more people in future events.

I am very new to Mahjong and have started playing because of my flatmate. I do not speak Cantonese nor mandarin well and was afraid I would be an outsider. However, the society is open to all players. I would like to continue the inclusive environment of the society as the welfare officer. I like the competitive but friendly nature of the society and would like to welcome as many people as possible. I know what an exciting game it is now and want everyone to feel safe and welcomed to the world of Mahjong.
