Based on my current experiences, people find it hard to locate mahjong society events since UCL is a large school. To improve this, as a social media officer, I will ensure that the details of the location and times are made clear. Most importantly, communication skills are vital for being a social media officer. My communication skills can be demonstrated as I am usually an effective team member in challenging scenarios, contributing ideas with confidence and clarity. This can be shown from my participation in big events like internships where I communicated my ideas on the research I have completed.

Another factor that makes me stand out is my wide network of connections with people at UCL. Hence, I plan to host even more collaborations with different societies. As a social media officer, I feel this is vital to attract an ever-growing mahjong society as people can broaden their horizons. Having individuals from different backgrounds can provide us with different opinions and views, which are vital for our society's improvement. Some specific groups of societies that I am connected with are the tennis society as well as UCLPASS.

In conclusion, I genuinely believe that I am a driven and motivated individual. Additionally, I strongly believe that I can effectively contribute to the society by discussing ideas and offering clear plans. I hope that you will vote for me.
