Live Music Society: Welfare and Volunteering Officer

welfare, innit?

Hello lovely people! I'm Celine and I am running to be the official Ray of Sunshine™ for the Live Music Society. This will be a slight upgrade from my current position as the Unofficial Ray of Sunshine™ in my past two years here. What I'm trying to say is that I've been around for enough time to understand with the inner workings of our society, and I am so excited to put that to use in my third and final year at UCL and in Live Music.

I enjoyed being a wee little fresher in 2022 and then your Social Media & Marketing Officer this year, but my dedication towards this society goes far beyond my official capacities as a Committee member. I consider everyone here my family. You all are so incredibly talented and sweet, and writing this statement feels no different to writing a love letter in the way it's making me smile and gush.

As your Welfare and Volunteering Officer, I will always look out for you. I will offer a shoulder to cry on, or a listening ear. I will take this role seriously and am capable of intervening in situations when necessary. I will give hugs. And most importantly, I will be there. Music is how I heal, and I am glad to think I share that with everyone in this society.
