Knitting Society: Social Media Officer

My self-taught journey of crocheting began during the pandemic and I’ve been obsessed with crocheting since. Knit Soc was the first society I joined this year as a first-year Biochemistry student and I greatly appreciate this crocheting and knitting community, which not only introduced me to my first friends at university but also allows me to spend time with people who share a similar interest. It has been incredible to be part of this community, and I would like to spread the joy and comfort I've found here to more people within our university by taking this passion a step further to stand for a committee position. I hope to contribute more actively by organising events and gatherings that not only teach and inspire but also foster a supportive and joyful community. Let’s make our university experience a little less stressful and a lot more rewarding, one stitch at a time ;)
