Hi Everyone!

As your current President, I have had the pleasure of supporting all of the activities and sessions we have organised during the pasts year. I wish to continue supporting the society, leading the efforts of our printed, online and workshops sessions throughout the upcoming year.

Being Managing Editor necessitates organisational and time managed approaches when coordinating with multiple writers, editors and artists. Across my time at Kinesis, I have demonstrated my ability to do so, with Issue 12 and Scientists of Tomorrow; not forgetting my time as Copy Editor and working on Issues 9, 10 and Pop Science. I have refined these skills across my time t Kinesis, producing Google Forms, Sheets and Written Documents for Writing and Editing within Science Journalism for the society.

From the upcoming year, I would like to expand the role and introduce a sub-committee which would focus on supporting the online side of our publication, ensuring more writers can get their first opportunity to write for the society. I would partner these with both talks based off of our best articles and continuing to bring in more experts from across the field, drawing from their experiences to help Kinesis flourish.

I hope you will allow me to continue working and leading efforts within Kinesis for the upcoming year, ensuring we can do right by our members to make Kinesis the best student science publication within the UK.
