Judo Club: President

Today, I stand before you not just as a fellow judoka but as someone who deeply cherishes the very essence of what our judo club represents. I would like to officially nominate myself for the role of president of our club - a decision that stems from a profound love for judo and an unwavering commitment to our club.

Over the past year, serving as the welfare officer, I've had the opportunity to connect with many of you on a level that goes beyond just practice and competitions. It's been about ensuring that our club is not just a place where we come to improve our judo skills but also a safe place where we feel supported and valued.

As someone who has dedicated countless hours to not only improving my own skills but also to the wellbeing of our members, I have witnessed first-hand the potential of what our club can achieve. I've seen the impact of a welcoming atmosphere and the success that comes not just from folding each other's gis while we're still in them, but from growing as individuals and as a community.

I understand the responsibilities that come with the role of president, and I do not take them lightly. My dedication to the sport of judo and to our club has been unwavering, and I hope that through my actions and commitment over the past year, I have earned your trust and respect.
