Investment Society: Vice President - Marketing

I am running to be Vice President of the Investment Society because I will work towards helping us all get our dream jobs in finance.

I will make sure that our society brings in more big-name speakers, improve the current mentorship program and make it the best in the UK, and diversify opportunities through the huge UCL Finance Conference. 

My goal is to give you more chances to learn, meet important people, and get ready for our amazing future. Together, we will make our society even more amazing and help each other succeed in the finance world.

I am running for Vice President of Marketing for UCLIS because I believe my extensive background uniquely qualifies me to excel in this role. With my experience as a Marketing Lead for a TEDx event and as a UBS Campus Ambassador, I have honed my skills in strategic planning, audience engagement, and brand promotion. 

If elected, I will utilize my expertise to not only enhance our organization's brand presence but also to cultivate genuine connections with our target audience, ultimately propelling growth and success for the team and the organization as a whole. I am dedicated to implementing innovative strategies, fostering collaboration, and promoting inclusivity to ensure that the society realizes its full potential and flourishes within the UCL community.

I am very committed to UCLIS and want my contributions to make our community stronger! As a female heading into finance, I want UCLIS to bring in more solid support in our careers, more insightful talks and discussions, more opportunities around the world, and greater collaboration among us!

In my 1 year of membership at Investment Society, I enjoyed so many valuable opportunities connecting us with top banking professionals and intelligent peers. And I saw our strengths in helping proactive students like us in pursuing our dream careers. I have more than 5 years of society leadership experiences specialising in marketing and social media running. I will collaborate closely with other committee members, supporting high-quality career events that bring together students, top employers, and finance professionals, fostering a greater finance community for everyone!

My involvement as an executive and mentor in the investment society over the last year has deepened my interest and passion to contribute to this society. I plan to make changes in the committee's current work. I hope to use our foundation and enhance it to ensure the Investment Society is the place to be for anyone looking for a career in finance. I also aim to increase the socials we host to ensure that all members get adequate chances to network and meet like-minded individuals.
