Ice Club: C Team Captain

Hey everyone,

I’m Alex, the previous captain of UCL Yetis B. If I were to be re-elected as captain it would be an honour to serve again. I will maintain my energy and dedication to keeping the Yetis B an open, inclusive and fun hockey team for all members. UCL ice hockey has been my passion for the last 3 years and I know how much it means to so many people. It is still my duty and mission to give back to all those who have joined and continue to join, just as ice club gave to me when I joined. As Yetis B we will continue our rise to success, and continue to learn and progress our hockey skills until we reach the summit of nationals, as we do each year. If you give you my support I will fight for everyone in our team, and it would be an honour to earn your support to be captain once again.

Greetings all,

It would be an honour to serve as El Capitan for our legendary YETIS for the upcoming year. Having been a dedicated member of the team for the past three years, and having served as social secretary for two of them, I believe that my experience, passion for the sport, and drinking skills make me a excellent candidate for this role.

I honestly love this team; it has been the best part of my university experience, and I want the best for both the club and the players. Having prior experience in the committee, and as alternate captain, I know what will be expected of me and the responsibilities this position holds.  

Some facts about me:

• I have survived being hit by a car 4 times 
• I came second place in the Scala halloween costume competition wearing the yeti suit
• I personally orchestrated EGG SOCIAL

Under my leadership, I swear on my mums life that we will crush the imperial devils, not conceding a single goal while doing so. However you will have to refer to me as El Capitan.
