Hockey Club (Women's): Tour Secretary

Hi, I’m Saskia! Who doesn’t love travelling and soaking up a bit of summer sun after exams? Obviously me, but I also understand that this role isn’t all looking at photos of beaches and clubs, so I think this position would be a great fit for me. I’ve done a lot of trip organisation before, planning 5 weeks of travel for 4 people, as well as organising 2 separate trips for 11 people. All of these included booking flights, accommodation, transfers etc., which I thoroughly researched, found good price values for, and stayed well within our allocated (student!) budgets. A really large part of the role is good communication between different parts of the hockey club, student union and tour company and as quite an approachable and organised person (don’t ask how far behind on work I am), I feel that I would be well-suited to coordinate this. I would love to plan a great hockey 2025 tour and make it an enjoyable one for everyone, with lots of fun nights out, hockey and time to unwind. As someone who is yet to go on tour, I am really excited to make the most of what it has to offer and as a great opportunity to bond more not only with my own team but throughout the club.
