Dearest ladies of the hockey club, I would like to take on the role of 2s captain for the upcoming season. I have found almost all of the few people I truly adore here at UCLWHC so I would be simply delighted to become an integral member of the club and continue the process of welcoming in freshers and taking over their lives as their number 1 all time favourite society ever in their waking life.

I believe that I have the qualities ESSENTIAL for captaincy. I have showed commitment to the club by consistently showing up to training and matches as well as committing hard to the socials. Whilst my Scala attendance may not be high, it is not for lack of trying, I just have too much fun in Phineas, resulting in a wholesome (in my opinion only) tube journey home with someone to hold my hand. I'm just getting it all out of my system so that next year I can become the responsible mother figure. Thanks to these early nights I get, I am always at training on a Thursday and have on occasion been the ONLY fresher present in the pouring rain.

Accusations of being a cocky fresh from time to time comes from occasionally pulling up seniors on hockey rules, showing I am ready to enforce them on the next generation and shows I have the confidence to lead the team to victory.

My main aim for the team would be to improve attendance at training, allowing us to truly flourish. A bit of healthy pressure to attend and a higher intensity of training will have the 2s closer (yet looser) than ever.
