To the best club of UCL/the world,

Firstly, let’s acknowledge the high standards set by Ella, known for her unparalleled dedication and memorable Scala nights finishing at the end of the tube line, yet always showing up and leading training. I aim to carry forward this spirit of resilience and enthusiasm as the potential next 1XI captain. With our recent relegation, I see no better opportunity than now for change, refocusing to build a cohesive and powerful team.

Over the past two years, I have genuinely loved getting to know people across all teams within the Hockey Club, and I hope to strengthen these bonds and forge new ones to form a tighter community that everyone feels confident and safe within.

My vision encompasses:

• Building a positive and united team: Creating an environment where individual strengths are combined for collective success. There is no ‘I’ in TEAM, and as cringy as that is, it's true. A team where continuous growth is not just encouraged but expected, where we can safely challenge each other and ourselves.
• Uniting as a club: Engaging in socials (aimed also at myself) and other events, creating a sense of belonging and pride that extends beyond individual teams.

I commit to leading with integrity, passion, and an unwavering commitment to our team's development and success, potentially even turning up to Scala ;). Together, I believe we can build a team and club that inspires everyone to continually improve, both on and off the pitch.
