Healthcare Management and Politics Society: President

I'm running for HeMP President to continue to grow the society after an exciting start over the last couple of years. I've enjoyed meeting the members of the society in my role as Welfare Officer, and have relished the opportunity to help organise our events throughout the year. I can't wait to continue to expand our network of like-minded students.

Here are my plans for the year ahead if I were lucky enough to be voted President:

1. Flagship Conference - build on our promising start this year and attract speakers at the top of their fields, whilst also securing conference sponsorship
2. Speaker events - host engaging events to learn about the defining issues in healthcare management and politics
3. Career workshops - discover non-healthcare / healthcare-adjacent options from key figures in industry, and create spaces to network with potential future employers

I will look to drive an increase in membership by being active on social media, alongside strong recruitment at the start of the year with early events to attract new members, from all different courses.

I hope you trust me with your vote, and I look forward to seeing you all after summer for what will be an action-packed year with all the HeMP events you could wish for!
