Genetics Society: Social Media Officer

Hello, my name is Sarah. I am a biology student who is deeply interested in the fields of genetics, genomics and evolution…and I am dedicated to spread my passion…with the power of social media!

As the social media officer for the Genetics Society, I will post regularly to ensure that important information, updates, and announcements reach our members in a clear and engaging manner, facilitating their participation. Having thoroughly enjoyed the amazing academic talks delivered by various guest speakers, I am eager to expand the society's reach to attract new members, allowing more individuals to join our insightful sessions.

As a content creator myself, I enjoy designing Instagram posts using Canva and exploring interactive tools to reach a wider audience, such as utilising polls and quizzes. I will actively encourage input and ideas from our members by posting regular feedback and suggestion forms to create a welcoming community where everyone feels heard and valued.
