Jimmy Yuan
Hi, I am Jimmy Yuan, a longtime CS member of the Gaming Soc.
In the past two years, I have participated widely in different tournaments including NSE, NUEL and UKIC, and thus experienced in how these university leagues run. Furthermore, I have played in the most recent varsity event, and witnessed the hardwork people put into them. I know what it takes to run a society like this and the funds involved.
However, in the past year, I've seen cases of games being underfunded, many moves which would have benefited tournament-playing teams were denied by the treasury. Therefore, if I was elected, I would take on it personally to make sure that teams are well-funded and each game can get what it aims for.
