Free Hype Society: Treasurer

Hi! I am Janelle, a second year Law student running for Treasurer of the Free Hype Society. My interests include crocheting and reading. My interest in running for Treasurer stems from my appreciation for the society's goals - encouraging creative aspirations and providing support to individuals and organisations trying to get a foot in the door of an often exclusive and inaccessible industry. These concepts align deeply with my own values, and thus I wish to be a part of a community that benefits those who often go unheard.

Financial responsibility and stability is something that I believe is integral to the functioning of any society - especially one as dedicated to pro bono work as the Free Hype Society! I envision maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring responsible budgeting, and fostering an environment of trust within the society. I have enjoyed acting as the Charities Secretary this year and I am excited about the prospect of dedicating myself to further the objectives of the society. I am committed to upholding high standards of financial management, and maximising the resources available for the benefit of us all.
