Football Club (Women's): Social Media Secretary

Hi! I’m Sasha, a 2nd year Biodiversity and Conservation student. I’ve played football since I was 11, but this is my first year at UCLWFC, as an injury didn’t allow me to join competitively in my 1st year. I found it useful to follow along on social media and get a feel for what it was like to be part of the team.

As social media secretary, I would aim to continue to tell the story of UCLWFC as an inclusive, fun and inviting club united by a love for football through (Instagram & TikTok):

Regular posts & story updates on team achievements, training sessions, player spotlights🤩

Promoting socials, charity, volunteering and wellbeing events + matches that we can watch together🫶

Increasing engagement & community involvement via polls, match day updates & term reviews (statistics, awards, notable moments)🏆

Showcasing how players have been empowered through football (interviews)🤗

Collaborating with other societies’ social media to spread the positive impact of sports communities⚽️

Incorporating trending challenges and short entertaining videos 🎥

Hosting Q&As, responding to DMs

Encouraging audience feedback for content preferences🗣️

Appealing visuals, drawing on my passion for art✍️

Representing our wonderful and diverse cohort that takes pride in their sport ❣️
