Filipino Society: Publicity & Marketing Officer

Hiii Filsoc! I'm Yna and I'm currently in first year studying Architecture, running for Publicity and Marketing Officer :))

The Filipino Society has helped me come out of my shell more and let me embrace the parts of my personality that I don't show often :p So, I'd love to have the opportunity to play this role to give back and support others, make them feel more involved, and encourage more celebration of our culture!

With a deep passion for our spirited community, I am committed to contributing to the growth and visibility of UCL's Filipino Society. If you didn’t already know, I enjoy putting together random videos and visuals for personal entertainment and marketing my nail business ;) I guarantee that my skills in crafting engaging content will resonate with our diverse audience. It will be an attribute in fulfilling my goal of not only promoting filsoc's events and initiatives but also cultivating a stronger sense of community among our members and friends. Kamusta! I'm Ethan James (or you can call me EJ) and I am thrilled to be running for the position of the Publicity and Marketing Officer. Becoming a part of FilSoc family has to be one of the best decisions I have ever made, especially when it comes to connecting with new friends, embracing the Filipino culture and enjoying the university life. As my thanks to previous committee members for their hard work in bringing in the filipino community, I want to take this opportunity to embrace what they have provided for me and give it to you guys! As the previous Marketing Officer for the UCL AI Society and a computer science student, my experience in content creation on various digital platforms and creating posters will be instrumental in promoting the Filipino Society's events and with my passion in website creation, I plan to make a new website for the FilSoc, showcasing previous events and the joy this society fosters. In addition to this, I have organised and led numerous events, working closely with students, faculty, and external partners. This experience has honed my ability to collaborate effectively, ensuring that our society's projects are executed smoothly. My ultimate goal is to craft content that will attract students of all cultures in UCL, encouraging them to unite and create new unforgettable experiences together that will continue on the Filipino Society's legacy.
