Since moving down to UCL, the fencing club has been a consistent, welcoming, and fun community. I hope to be able to support this as is needed, and to help the club reach more fencers like myself who picked up the sport at uni. Usually, you can expect to run into me on a sport night or maccies just after. With the centenary of the club approaching, I'll aim to move on the work that's been done and bring the club into the start of another 100 years of fencing.

I have previously held committee positions in athletics (social run/outreach sec) and in various academic societies. I'm a medical student hopefully taking some time out to do my PhD. Currently, I'm a committed member of the men's seconds, and help out for the firsts when needed. I'm kind, helpful, and well organised, and able to convince the right people when needs be.

I hope to help the club in the years to come,

Andrew      :)

p.s. we need some sabre representation on the committee eventually

Hanna Gos

Hi!

My name is Hanna and I'm a 2nd year student of Management Science here at UCL. I've been around the Fencing Club for the past 2 years, started as a Novice and now you can also see me at the Thursday and Saturday sessions as I will never turn down a good epee sparring!

This year, I decided to get more involved in the club by running for this position! I want to assist the President in running the club, whether it's organising and planning training sessions, and social events or doing the paperwork for Students' Union. I hope to utilise my experience from other society roles and my degree to ensure the smooth running of the club!

I hope I can get your vote and see you at the training sessions!
