Fencing Club: Head Armourer

I joined the fencing club last semester and I am really glad to be a member of the club. I already fenced in China for like 3 years and I am first year undergraduate UCL student. I feel like this club is like my family in London and can help me to practice my fencing skills. Moreover, I am also a member of Women's first team representing UCL in all kinds of BUCS competitions. As I am also an active member of the society, i almost participate in all the training sessions on Thursdays and Fridays, even though I was not a great fencer since i first joined this society, but I feel like all the other members and the coach in the society helped me a lot. Also, I am also trying to help the new fencers to gain more experiences and confidence in fencing during the training sessions.  However, some novice fencers told me that they have some complaints about the society, I think I have some great suggestions and will put them into actions to fix the problems raised up by the new fencers. I am a person who not only cares, but also acts. I would like to contribute more to my beloved society, and make this society become better and better so more students in UCL can enjoy this sport and join the society. After I become the committee member, I am going to negotiate with the coach and the members of the society more to organise the training sessions more effective for both the experienced fencers and freshers.
