Fashion Business Society: President

As a current First-Year Representative, I'm keen to progress to the role of President within the Fashion Business Society and believe I have a lot to offer. 

My hope and vision is to continue transforming the society into a hub for luxury fashion, enhancing our outreach to cultivate UCL's emerging talent and cater it to the industry. I hope to also create a mentorship program, linking young people to professionals working with/around fashion brands. As well as this, more seminars and panels with brand owners/leaders in the industry would create more opportunities for those interested in practical fashion entrepreneurship. 

My leadership in the high school film society has taught me how to manage and delegate tasks, as well as bringing event ideas to life in order to effectively bring people together, such as in large scale film screenings and short film projects.

The experience I've obtained designing for the MODO Fashion Show has equipped me with a deep understanding of the creative and technical intricacies of fashion, which I am eager to leverage to elevate our society's impact and reach.

I believe this society can be even better in 2024/25! Thank you x

Hi, I'm Amelia. I am currently one of the communication officers for FBS and am nominating myself to be your president for 2024/25! 

I think this society still has so much potential and there is still so much that we haven't done yet just because this society is still so new and I would really like to help create a new vision for this society. I really want to steer this society in a direction that is going to focus more on actual industry application and networking while still keeping our really fun crafty evenings.
