Environmental, Social and Governance Society: Head of Events

I aim to offer ESG members a thorough understanding of ESG-related industries by hosting events spotlighting sustainability careers in sectors such as green finance, ESG consulting, and sustainable infrastructure and technology. Moreover, I seek to diversify our event offerings to include panel talks, career workshops, inter-society socials, and competitions, enhancing our members' experiences and providing them with abundant networking and learning opportunities to excel in the dynamic field of sustainability.

The ESG Society, whilst new, has made significant contributions to UCL's repertoire of academic events. I took up a role with the ESG Society as an Events Executive, and have since helped lead a range of panels, collaborations, career focused sessions and more. Many of you might have seen me in a range of events, so I look forward to continuing to foster a community next year.

I understand the ethos and objectives of both ESG and events at UCL. In this role, I aim to enhance the skills I've gained in my current position, and I hope to increase outreach to students who may have overlooked this Society.

With the amazing range of events, and the inspiring team that has lead the society this year, there is a high bar to reach. I hope I can upkeep the standards that the previous head of events has set, and the groundbreaking founder.
