Having actively participated in the society's events this year, I'm enthusiastic about expanding my involvement. Fuelled by a genuine passion for literature and a desire to connect with fellow enthusiasts, I can offer innovative ideas to foster our society. Leveraging my communication skills and event management experience, I intend to curate compelling events and cultivate an interactive literary environment. With a focus on creativity and clear communication, I'm dedicated to elevating our society's programs and creating an inclusive space where all members are heard and can actively share their ideas.

As an English student, I'm always looking for opportunities to help spread my love of English to other students at UCL (though sometimes Wordsworth can get a bit much), and I believe that running for Workshop Officer of the English Society is a perfect way for me to showcase this!

As a house leader in sixth form, I was involved in organising charity events, workshops and house competitions for the house and the entire school, showcasing my ability to work in an organised team and well-suitedness to work as a Workshop Officer.

If elected, I would be committed to helping the English Society hold regular workshops on various topics relevant to all members, collaborating with guest speakers, professors, other societies and more. I will also work to organise all kinds of competitions to enable any student to have a creative outlet to showcase their skills! Some possible future projects I would work towards include holding writing competitions in collaboration with student magazines, organising workshops with creative writing lecturers and professors to give opportunities for students to further their writing skills and more.

I hope you'll consider voting for me as your Workshop Officer next year!
