Seraj Kindakji

Hello, this is Seraj. Currently, I’m doing my master’s in engineering for International Development. I’m standing for the President role in Engineers Without Borders Society as I believe I have the skills and the experience needed to promote and develop EWB UCL projects, activities, and the society's mission and vision overall.

Being the operations manager with the society committee in the last two terms helped me develop an understanding of the society’s approach to raising awareness toward the engineering for development movement. In addition to my involvement as a member of EWB chapter in the United States where I learned more about the movement interventions, projects, and the mission of its different chapters. I gained good experience and knowledge in the development field by working with the United Nations Development Program and the European Union for several years on cross-sectoral programs and projects in MENA region.

As a committed individual with motivation and experience in the development field, I believe that I will add good value to the chapter as well as to all UCL students. I believe I have the vision for this year, and I’m committed to achieving it and promoting the humanitarian and international development responsibilities that we - as engineers - have towards our nations.
