Engineering Society: Head of Sponsorship

Hi! I’m Chiara and I’m a second year undergraduate in Biochemical Engineering.

This year I’d like to run for head of sponsorship, the role that allows the society to keep its contacts with professionals and create new ones, to allow young engineers to attend career events, talks, workshops and gain incredible learning experience through experts in diverse fields on engineering. Maintaining contact with our currents sponsors and reaching out to new ones requires patience and the people skills to be able to compromise for the benefit of the society’s members, which I believe I could bring to the table from my experience within the events team.

Hey everyone! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a candidate for the position of UCLES Head of Sponsorship. I'm Kelly, and I'm deeply enthusiastic about reshaping sponsorship into an experience that mutually enriches our engineering society and our valued partners.

Having served as the First Year Representative, I had the privilege of connecting with many of you and gaining insights into the unique challenges and aspirations within our dynamic engineering community. Now, I'm eager to leverage that experience and channel it into elevating our society through strategic sponsorships.

To me, sponsorship goes beyond just securing funds. It's about creating enduring value for both our society and our sponsors. I am committed to expanding UCLES's sponsorship network by forging new relationships and nurturing connections with companies from our previous collaborations.

I am genuinely thrilled about the possibility of contributing to UCLES once again, this time in a capacity that harmonizes seamlessly with my passion for fostering meaningful collaborations.
