Adam Moukarzel

Hi everyone ! My name is Adam and I’m currently a first-year Mathematics with Modern Languages student.

I am standing for the role of Welfare Officer as I am passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every member feels valued and heard. Having gone through the process of applying and securing internships in finance, I understand the unique pressures faced by students in this demanding field. My interactions with the society whether through the mentorship programme or presentations held by the committee have always been positive, and I wish to contribute to this environment.

To do so, I hope to implement wellness initiatives, provide mental health resources, and foster a community of mutual support and encouragement. By prioritising the well-being of our members, we not only enhance individual experiences but also strengthen the collective success and cohesion of our society.

Thank you for considering my candidacy, I look forward to being a key member of EFS!

Rishabh Sinha

Hi there!

I’m Rishabh Sinha, a current FYR of the Marketing Division within EFS this year.
Through this position, I’ve noticed and understood the many challenges present in the community, and I’m dedicated to addressing these challenges and ensuring that each member feels appreciated, empowered, and supported.

As your Welfare Officer, I aim to uphold the core values of EFS, which strives to equip students with the foundation they need to excel in Economics, Finance, and related fields. By genuinely understanding each student's unique concerns, especially within these disciplines' often competitive and challenging environments, I hope to foster a community where all members can thrive. Ultimately, my vision for EFS is to elevate it to new heights by organizing impactful events with high levels of participation, thereby cementing its rightful place UCL’s largest and most vibrant society.

My Goals Involve:
Growth: Improve the quality and variety of EFS events ensuring that they cater to what students need and appreciate.
Inclusivity: Ensure every member feels comfortable and maintain a welcoming environment that promotes curiosity, openness, and feedback.
Community: fostering a community with more social interactions between members, committee, and alumni.
Student Support Systems: Collaborations with similar societies to create a system where each student can ask for help, including peer programs, mentor talks, and other similar platforms.
