Hello EFS member!

I’m Edwin To, Shadow to the President of EFS and Analyst at Bloomsbury Capital. Through these positions, I gained significant experience in the management of the activities within EFS, working closely with the current president to deliver insightful events for all our members. I seek to continue the fantastic work of the current president and committee, bringing EFS from strength to strength for its 70th anniversary.

I will give all my effort in utilising my experience within EFS to deliver my promise of making EFS the greatest career launching pad in economics, finance and business. My agenda involves:

• Partnerships: to continue our partnerships with UCL societies and other universities such as LSE, KCL and Bocconi, ensuring access to more joint projects and initiatives.
• Expansion: to widen the range of events delivered by EFS, including venture capital, consulting and private equity and continue to attract the best speakers in the industry.
• Upskilling: intensify efforts in training members to win the best jobs in whatever industry desired. Through organising more workshops like the M&A masterclass, and expanding our mentorship programme, I will endeavour to ensure all members get the best jobs they all deserve.
• Sponsorship: revamping EFS’ sponsorship proposals to attract more sponsors ensuring that cost-effective events and socials can be delivered, and improving society's financial health.
