Dutch and Flemish Society: President

Hallo allemaal! I'm Justin, a second-year LLB Law student deeply passionate about Dutch language and culture, and I'm excited to announce my candidacy for the position of President of the UCL Dutch and Flemish Society.

As President, my foremost goal is to oversee the seamless operation of our society while spearheading the planning of both cultural and academic events. With my profound appreciation for Dutch language and culture, I am dedicated to fostering an inclusive and vibrant community within our society. Additionally, I am committed to expand our society by actively introducing the Dutch language and culture to those who are interested in exploring it.

I aim to organise a diverse range of cultural events celebrating the Netherlands and Flanders, and embracing Dutch/Flemish-influenced cultural elements with roots that extend beyond borders. From karaokes and language classes to borreltjes bij de Hems and potlucks, I am committed to creating memorable experiences that resonate with all members of our society.
