My aesthetics are on point, my Instagram captions will be funny (I cannot 100% guarantee this), I know the difference between chartreuse and sage green and olive, and I will make posts about tournaments on time (sorry Lisa). This year, I helped out with Facebook in posting updates related to the tournaments I helped convene. I believe this experience will be invaluable to my role and responsibilities as the publicity officer. I also promise to use flattering photos of everyone.

Jasmine Harding

I'd like to be this years' Debating publicity officer first and foremost because I love debating as a sport and the community that it has brought me this year is something I cherish deeply. On top of that, I'd like to improve the social media engagement of the society, membership registration, potential merch drop and overall funding of the society such that we can better fund our debaters and send them to more national and international competitions to improve their skills.

Most of all I want to expand debating at UCL to be a wider community that feels fun, inclusive and exciting!
