I believe that inclusion is central to maintaining and improving the welfare of our members. I already have experience promoting inclusion as a co-lead of the History department's First in Family and Working Student network. I will bring the friendly, inclusive approach that FIFWS uses to approach issues of member welfare in the club. Like many students I have had mental health issues whilst at university and as such I understand that it can be hard to discuss these issues, or that it can be easy to ignore or reject negative feelings. By adopting an open and friendly approach to welfare issues I will try to make all members of the club feel welcome and comfortable on our rides.

I started cycling and joined the cycling club when I first came to UCL two years ago. I really enjoyed cycling and riding with the club. Now I do want to give back to the club as much as I can.
