Consulting Society: President

Hi! I’m Jiaman, a current first year representative running to be your next president.

My previous experience as the FYR of four different societies has helped me develop my communication and shaped me into a leader capable of leading UCLCS. Through helping with client projects and competing as a finalist in the internal case comp, I’m motivated to continue exploring new opportunities and make a lasting impact.

My goals are as follows:

• Improvement: I aim to refine and elevate the events hosted by UCLCS, streamlining our society's processes for a more seamless experience. Additionally, enhancing communication across divisions is a priority to ensure everyone is well-informed and engaged.
• Inclusion: My goal is for UCLCS to be a welcoming space for all students. I am committed to encouraging participation from individuals of all backgrounds and academic years in our events.
• Innovation: Beyond strengthening the existing structure, I aspire to introduce fresh ideas and initiatives. For example, I want to provide UCL students with the opportunity to compete internationally through case competitions.
• Growth: To make UCLCS the premier career society at UCL, I plan to expand our existing network of industry connections and company sponsorships in order to offer high quality consulting masterclasses and networking events for members.
