Chinese Traditional Painting and Calligraphy Society: Welfare Officer

Hello everyone! I am Kim, a first-year student who is studying psychology and education. I want to nominate myself to become a member of the Chinese Traditional Painting and Calligraphy Society.

I consider myself fortunate to have joined the Calligraphy Society during my first year at UCL. By participating in almost every session and activity of this society, I can feel the welcoming atmosphere it transmits to everyone. That’s the reason why I am very fond of this organization —— embrace all the possibilities. Therefore, I want to dedicate myself to being a part of it and continue developing this lovely society.

I am a Chinese traditional culture lover, with a particular focus on calligraphy, gongfu tea, and religious traditions. I’m more than willing to share whatever I know if there is anything you are interested in about Chinese culture, such as the diverse food cultures, exciting places to visit, and different local customs.

I sincerely aspire to become a welfare officer to contribute my time and energy to provide you with positive experiences at the Chinese Traditional Panting and Calligraphy Society.
