Chinese Students and Scholars Association Society: Head of Liaison and Public Relations

Hello, everyone; my name is Yuki Zhou. With a love of liaison and public relations and a sense of responsibility for UCLCSSA, I'm running for the position of head of liaison and public relations. First, my rich experience and solid professional skills support me in being the head. I have accumulated strong knowledge in organizing and planning during this school year. I am well aware of the importance and specific operation of the liaison and public relations department. My professional knowledge allows me to provide support and guidance for the development of this department. Secondly, I will use my leadership skills to dominate the department well. Advocating an inclusive atmosphere of communication and cooperation is an essential key. I will encourage members to express their opinions and suggestions fully and jointly explore ways to solve problems to ensure team cohesion and centripetal force. Simultaneously, expanding cooperation channels is vital in bridging the gap between business partners and schools. I will actively cooperate and exchange within and outside the university to promote excellent cooperation with people from all walks of life. Let's work hand in hand to witness the development and growth of the liaison and public relations department and UCLCSSA. I believe with our joint efforts, the department and UCLCSSA will usher in a better future!

I'm Arthur, a second year student in BSc Geography. I am nominating for the head of Liaison and public relationship in UCL CSSA for 2024-2025.

In my view, the Liaison Department acts as a platform within our association, serving as a bridge for resource exchange between internal departments and external entities. During my year in Liaison department, I have gained strong communication skills with both my colleagues and businesses, as well as experiences of resource organisation and event planning. I have actively participated in events across various departments last year, gaining first-hand information of the supports required for organizing successful events. This experience will enable me to precisely meet the diverse needs for different departments next year, in terms of funding, promotion, and more.

In the new term, I will dedicate to ensuring adequate funding while strengthening communication between departments. I will arrange team members to listen and fulfil the needs of each department internally. I believe that internal and external communication are equally important.

Finally, I want to express my gratitude to the Liaison Department and the seniors from all departments for their support and guidance. With my experience and insights, I am committed to providing better assistance to UCL CSSA and build it to a more influential community!
