Cheese Grater Magazine: President

Hello!! If you don’t know me already, I’m Lily, and I have been hanging around the various parts of Cheese Grater since I first started at UCL. I have loved being part of the magazines community and meeting everyone! I mean, where else do you get a chance to do investigative, satirical, and feminist journalism and also get to perform on stage?

This year, I have been social sec and have enjoyed being part of the committee, but I am ready for a step up. I have been warned about the never-ending pile of paperwork that being president entails, and I am ready for my admin skills to shine. I want to be president to help this society continue to hold UCL to account while taking down the patriarchy, but most importantly, continuing to have a laugh. This society is one of my favourite things about life at UCL; I have made many friends and had such a good time, and I hope to create a space where others can do the same. Let’s continue to make Cheese even greater !!!!
