Alice Smeys

As an active member of the UCL Business Society, my drive to bring impactful change through consulting has led me to seek the Vice President of Consulting position. I've worked with a student-led consulting agency, tackling projects that make a tangible difference, particularly for NGOs. My involvement as Content Manager has allowed me to apply and expand my technological transformation skills, a specialty I've developed through my internship at KBC.

This experience is distinct from my contributions within the society, providing me with a practical perspective on consulting that complements the academic focus within the society. It's sharpened my ability to implement technology-driven solutions in business, making organizations more efficient and forward-thinking.

As Vice President, I plan to leverage this dual experience to enhance our society's consulting projects, ensuring our members get hands-on experience with real-world challenges. My goal is to foster a learning environment that bridges academic theory with practical application, preparing our members for successful consulting careers.

Hi Everyone!

I’m Adrian, a first-year biochemistry student, running to be the Vice-President of the Consulting Division.

After a year as a First Year Executive, I was able to gain an insight into how the society functions and feel confident I would be able to improve the consulting division as Vice-President next year.

As FYE, I helped out at major events such as the DECA case competition and the Impact Investment Challenge and am keen to help the consulting division develop, grow and diversify.

My three main pledges would be to:

  1.  Maintain and expand relationships with top firms such as BCG to facilitate networking opportunities
  2. Give students the chance to hear from industry experts through panel events
  3. Equip members with the case study and application skills to succeed through workshops and mentorship

I have held leadership positions previously and have been on a pro-bono consulting project and director of a student company in the past. I believe have the skillset to lead a successful division!

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
