Bentham Brooks Institute Society: President

I am standing and am nominating myself because I would like to continue my position as President for the next 2024/2025 academic year.

I believe thar I would make a good candidate because of the previous experience that I have with being on a society committe, not only for BBI but also the IR Society (welfare officer).

As someone who have already been President of BBI, as well as learning how to be on a commitee and work out disagreements or conflicts, if I were to be elected as President again next year, I would definetely take the experience that I have had this year to learn from my mistakes and to be a better President for BBI next year.

As President I would help organize talks/trips/collabs with other societies especially because I plan to run as Welfare Officer again for IR.

As President I would help foster a safe environment where everyone feels like they are equally part and an important member of the society, where mean and rude behavior will not be tolerated and handled out immediately with consequences.

This year the BBI commitee was not formed until the start of the school year as because of that things were not able to start until later on in the academic year. I hope that by being elected President, as well as with other commitee positions, before the summer, that we can plan things in ahead to hit the road running at the start of the 2024/2025 academic year.

I hope that you guys consider me again for being President of BBI for 2024/2025.
