Owen Tsai

As a regular writer and executive of the society, I want to contribute towards it further in the next school year, as I have grown to care for it and its members. With the society being relatively new, I deeply feel the importance of expanding the society's reach, which can only be done by making students feel welcome, comfortable and interested to join the society. Aside from promoting the existing vision of the society to more students, I want to make sure that existing members are engaged and enfranchised in the society's happenings, that I may be able to answer any inquiry or inquest regarding the society, and improve the the wellbeing of all within the society, and the society itself.

Leonore Leroy

Hello ! My name is Leonore Leroy. I am currently a first year student in the international, social and political studies program and learning mandarin. I am really interested in exploring the global dynamics, particularly the one linked to asiatic affairs. I wish to spark interest in new people and share opportunities to learn more with all.

Beyond that, I sincerely wish to become actively involved in initiatives aimed at promoting student welfare and fostering a supportive campus environment.

I would like to nominate myself for the role of Welfare Officer as I genuinely desire to bring a positive change, as well as continue the great work done this year by the Asiatic Affairs society. I believe I am organised, empathetic, and driven by a strong sense of social responsibility which are necessary qualities for the role. I will do my best to make the Asiatic affairs society thrive !
