Joining the AI society has profoundly altered my perspective on technology. The opportunities it has provided me in finding a community of individuals interested in the same topics are unparalleled.

The AI society is a valuable place that offers many opportunities, such as leading research, founding startups, and applying AI to global issues like climate change in the hopes of combating it. With the new perspectives the AI society has provided me, I would like to give back and engage with the community in a deeper way.

As an Arts and Sciences student focusing on economics and quantitative methods, I believe I possess the required skill set to manage the society’s finances and also form strategies that will help widen our reach. As your Treasurer, I would like to continue working with companies like Bloomberg while also expanding our horizons to collaborate with more leaders in the field, such as DeepMind and Google.

Working together with such renowned names would allow us, as a society, to provide students with invaluable career opportunities and also foster an atmosphere of learning.

In the past, I have been on the committee of the Yoga Club here at UCL, which is one of the largest sports societies. There, I led the social media accounts and helped organize the 10+ yoga classes we offer every week. This experience has prepared me to help lead an even larger society this year.
