Hey everyone! I'm running for the Events Officer role at the UCL AI Society and here's why I think I'd be great for it. First off, I'm doing an Integrated Master's in Robotics and AI, which means I eat, sleep, and breathe AI. At the Bank of England, not only did I get to work with AI models like linear regression and deep learning to spot trends in data, but I also applied my skills in cool projects like developing a Netflix recommendation system and doing portfolio analysis. It was super cool to see AI in action outside of university and how it can be applied in real-world finance.

I've also got some experience organizing events. Back in high school, I put together a conference on Computer Science and Physics which was a blast. I want to bring that same energy to our society, especially for events around AI, because sharing knowledge and building a community around AI is what I love.

I'm really passionate about getting more women into AI and tech too. It's something I care about deeply, and I'd love to run events that highlight the amazing work of women in this field. With my background, experience, and passion for AI and diversity in tech, I think I can help make our AI Society's events even more awesome. Can't wait to get started!

I have actively participated in the UCL AI Society as a first-year representative, gaining a comprehensive understanding of its operations and requirements. During my tenure, I oversaw an online social event for Climate Hack and help organise the pitch deck for AI Foundry. These experiences provided me with the necessary organisational, strategic, and collaborative abilities to effectively lead the Events Committee. My vision is for the Events Committee to serve as a forum that facilitates constructive transformation, nurtures relationships, and enables people to take charge of their lives. With your assistance, I intend to materialise this vision and inaugurate a period of momentous occurrences. With my understanding in Python and my deep interest in AI will help me navigate the events based in that sphere My experiences qualify me in a distinctive manner to serve as the Events Committee's leader. I intend to utilise my varied skill set, fervour for artificial intelligence, and track record of leadership to enhance events, encourage community participation, and effectuate constructive transformations within the community. In conclusion, an authentic enthusiasm for community involvement and ingenuity propels me forward. Thank you for considering me for this role.
