Application of Psychedelics Society: Treasurer

Hi! I'm Marcus, a PhD student in the Clinical Psychopharmacology Unit.

I am once again applying to be treasurer of the UCL Society for the Application of Psychedelics. I am thoroughly enjoying my current role as treasurer this year, and am very keen to keep it going next year. As well as managing the finances of the society, I have made major contributions to event planning this year, getting some big names in the space to give talks, including Dr Manesh Girn, Mike Jay, and Dr Ben Rein.

I have many more ideas for who I wish to get as speakers for the coming year, so am keen to remain involved in the society. Given my strong familiarity with the workings and finances of the society, I believe it is fitting that I continue in my role as treasurer.

I'd also love to hear from members regarding additional event ideas for the coming year!
