AIESEC Society: Vice President (Incoming Global Talent)

During my tenure as an IGT member at AIESEC, I have noticed a set amount of situations that I would like to see rectified within the position.

First of all, I would like to shore up the attendance of all IGT (and not only) members, as to ensure that the initiatives that we carry out during events (such as the recent Hunting Season) are met with due enthusiasm and commitment from members, provided they don’t do so at the expense of their educational commitments.

Additionally, I would wish to institute a clearer division of labor among IGT teams, in order to better cater towards the individual talents of each of these members. Some would engage more in cold calls, some in emailing and others in searching for companies. This may allow us to streamline the onboarding process, and continue the practice of slowly involving new members with progressively more challenging forms of business contacting.

The reasons for WHY I’m standing, but not yet why it is me who is standing. Over my course at AIESEC, I have built a large set of abilities, and I believe that this position is where I can put them to use. As a team leader, I’ve organized both LCM deliveries and cold calling sessions, not to mention my being named as best member of the function of the previous term. All in all, I would like to apply all of my abilities to improving the state and quality of IGT, and ensure that we, as the “money-makers” of AIESEC, continue to uphold AIESEC UCL as the foremost one in the nation.
