Ahlul-Bayt Islamic Society: President

I have decided to put myself forward for president of Ahlul-bayt society as I believe this position would allow me to serve our community in a way that aligns with the teachings of the Ahlul-bayt. 

One of my main goals is to improve interactivity within the society. To achieve this, I hope to see Ahlul-bayt Society host more engaging events such as student-led and scholar-led discussion circles about islamic teachings, current events and many more topics relevant to us as students. This would allow our members to meet like-minded people, whilst also understanding a diverse range of perspectives. I hope that interactivity would make the society more engaging and enjoyable for its members.

Additionally, with the help of the committee I would like to organise a range of events that cater towards the different interests within our society. These events would ensure that members of our society feel included and valued within our community.  To further foster a sense of inclusivity, I would like to create avenues for constructive feedback which allow our committee to understand further what members would like to see at our society.

Overall I believe that prioritising interactivity and inclusivity we will be able to strengthen our community and I look forward to helping in cultivating a society that the Ahlul-bayt would be proud of inshAllah.
