Women's Engineering Society: Events Manager

I would like to gain experiences in organising events and creating meaningful experiences for others. I enjoy working collaboratively with others to plan and execute successful events. I believe that the club has potential for growth and opportunity to benefit the members. Thus, I want to contribute to its success by providing engaging and enriching events that support the club's mission in providing a platform for its members to explore and learn about opportunities for women in engineering field. 

If I am elected for this position, I would like to focus on organising events that promotes learning and innovation among members. This will allow the members to develop their technical skills and knowledge, and to gain practical experience in working with technology. Also, I aspire to build a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for technology, and to provide opportunities for networking and collaboration.

I am attentive to details in whatever work I am doing. For an event manager, I believe this is an important trait to have as you have the responsible to ensure the event to run smoothly. I also enjoy working with people in a team because there is always a lot to learn from each other. The mistakes and knowledge we learn from managing events and working in a team are what makes us  grow as a person. Once I voluteered to assist the comittee of this society for an event. I truly feel welcomed and enjoy doing the small role in contributing to successful of the event. I hope to be a part of the committee with a bigger role and contribute to the society.
