Welsh Society: Vice President

Hey! My name is Danilo and I am standing to be your next Vice President! Having been on the committee since mid 2021, I will be crucial in helping the transition between these academic years. If elected, I will ensure:

1.) Weekly welfare checks on the groupchat and making valuable resources available for those who need support

2.) Monthly welfare events (such as speed friendings/dating, games nights, pub socials etc) so that our members can make new friends and get to know eachother, including over the holidays

3.) Improving the Welsh language resources at UCL and setting up some more language classes so that more people can learn this beautiful but important language - something which I am very passionate about 

4.) Hosting some online socials in order to appeal to all members, especially that have to commute or are alumni 

5.) Collaborating with other Welsh societies in the UK (and around the world!) online, and possibly setting up a penpal scheme (which 

I will also be there for our members. I promise to always be there for every member and help as much as I possibly can, whether it's just a talk or signposting or emailing teachers for support/extension support or anything that I can do to help – I will be there for you all. Life is hard and that is why support is so important, and I will help ensure that I can help your experience at UCL.
